London School of Musical Theatre provides a one-year, full-time intensive course of vocational training for talented individuals, who wish to realise their full potential in Musical Theatre.
The training demands hard working and focused individuals who have the ability to be ready for the professional musical theatre stage within one year.
The emphasis of the training is on the singing voice and performance through song. This is complemented by a high standard of tuition in dance and drama. We also equip our students with excellent audition technique as well as cultivating their performing craft so that they are fully prepared for this competitive industry.
The school has strong links within the profession including connections with Producers, Directors and Casting Directors. A high proportion of LSMT graduates have worked professionally, many in West End shows including: Beauty and The Beast, Mamma Mia, Fame, Cats, Whistle Down The Wind, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, The Far Pavilions, Joseph, Starlight Express, Romeo & Juliet, Blood Brothers, We Will Rock You and Billy Elliot.
